Throughout the years, we have seen that our concept of bilingual education is as enjoyable for the students as it is effective.

Recently, be.Living was very pleased to receive the Bronze certificate from the University of Cambridge’s “Your School is TOP!” program. This was a great achievement for our school and, more important, a recognition of the work we do in preparing our students for the Cambridge exams.

We understand that this award is the crowning achievement of a work that starts when the children are still in early childhood.

Here at be.Living, the English language is incorporated naturally into the child’s life at all stages of learning: from kindergarten to fifth grade.

Immersion starts early on, when little ones in kindergarten learn to discover and experience the world also in English.

The teachers foster this learning on a daily basis through games that prompt the children to read themselves, others, and their surroundings in a bilingual way through creative, fun, and challenging situations.

This idea of “learning through play” in both Portuguese and English is an identifying mark of our school, guiding learning until the end of fifth grade.

In our school routine, we promote situations in which children experience, in a significant way, the social role of the English language in relationships, forms of expression, logical thinking, work with the body, and the arts.

The literacy and development of our bilingual students are built on a daily basis. They are completely tied to the everyday life, culture and society in which the child is embedded.

We view each child as a unique being full of potential. We thus work with the individuality and the particular experiences of each and every group.

Our educational process is alive. Every day we adjust, adapt, and grow with the children, making the best use of the learning opportunities that arise.
