Over the last few months, we have been revisiting our Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) “The paths of teaching and learning at be.Living”.
For those who don’t know, the school’s Pedagogical Political Project is the reference document for everyone in the school community. It contains all the direction, guidelines and possible paths to be taken on the teaching-learning journey that we propose to those who come to us.
Woven by many hands, our PPP is the fruit of our desires, dreams and expectations as educators, and of the school we want to be for our children and community. It is a project that translates, through words and images, the daily routine at school, and provides theoretical and practical methods that guide our pedagogical practices.
be.Living has been here for 23 years! During this period of existence, we have experienced firsthand that the school is a vibrant place that evolves, adapts, and brings about transformations in all those involved in its processes. Since the establishment of our school, numerous changes have occurred, which have also contributed to our path of growth, expansion, and accomplishments.
That’s why believe it is essential to capture this. We have been carefully examining and reevaluating our PPP, with great dedication and care, involving our entire school staff. Early Childhood Education and Elementary School teachers – who are in constant contact with the daily routine – have been engaging in enriching meetings, delving deeply into essential issues for the reconstruction of our PPP. It became clear that, in order for our school project to be fully experienced, this document needed to be reorganized in a way that accurately represents the work we are currently doing.
This construction involves numerous stages, meetings, studies, and discussions to present ourselves with utmost responsibility and reflection.
Our goal is for the affection that permeates our work with the children to shine through in our Pedagogical Political Project, amplifying our educational practice even more.
In this magazine, you will find excerpts, scenes, and records of various interactions, experiences, and challenges that originate from the core of this Project. You will see that at be.Living, the motivation for learning is a fundamental driving force for the continuous construction of knowledge and the development of skills that enable children to learn how to learn, with all their potential, autonomy, and protagonism!
Affectionately,
Patrícia Pavan and Analívia Lacerda
